We often say “greater is He that is within me than he that is in the world.” Most times we say this when we feel spiritually/physically attacked or afflicted, but I wonder, do we speak that KNOWING and BELIEVING the words we speak or do we speak that out of fear of what’s upon us?
If we KNOW for a FACT that 1. He who lives in us IS indeed greater, 2. The He who lives in us is not just any he but GOD; the creator of the ENTIRE universe and everything within it, and 3. He, GOD The Almighty, is FOR us as Romans 8 vs. 31 tells, why then do we fidget and shake at any sign of hardship or pain. Why then do we walk with our spirit dejected because of disappointment or delay in the manifestation of a promise.
When someone RECOGNIZES that he/she possess power, they walk with a certain aura of confidence. GOD is for us, He’s in us. We need not reach out for Him, but reach IN for Him.
I’m not saying afflictions, trials, and tribulations won’t come; THEY WILL (John 16:33), but when they do we have power to STAND and overcome, rather than fall and be discouraged because Jesus has overcome and the same power that He had as God in flesh dwells in you and me!
So the next time we feel a shaking, an attack, or an affliction let’s reach within, stand firm, KNOW that God is for us, and BELIEVE that greater is HE that’s within us than he that’s in the world.
I’d like to provide an opportunity to those who are yet to meet with Jesus. If you have a deep desire to know Jesus and enter into the kingdom of God you are in great company. I did at some point in my life, and it was the greatest desire that God ever met!
I invite you to pray the sinner’s prayer: Dear Jesus, I accept that I am a sinner and I confess my sins before you. I believe that you died for my sins and rose again to give me new life. I ask that you forgive me of my sins; cleanse me with your precious blood which you shed on the cross of Calvary. I accept you as my personal Lord and Savior. Fill me up with your Holy Spirit and strengthen me. I profess that I am a new creature; old things have passed away and I have become new in You. Thank You Lord! In Jesus name, AMEN!
If you prayed the prayer, WELCOME TO THE KINGDOM FAMILY!! Be sure to find a bible believing, Spirit led church in your city and purchase a bible in a version that you understand. I use the New Living Translation, Message, or the New International Version. Enjoy the journey!
